1 minute slower than last years PR. It's tough mentally to not improve, but there was nothing in my training that should lead to a PR. splits 6:42 6:58 6:51 6:56 7:03 7:01 1:30 for the last .2 (7:30 pace) Tailwind out, headwind on the way back, probably added a few seconds to the overall time. I wound up with a third place ribbon even though I was really 5th. Two runners were pulled out and put in a separate top masters category. |
