I did it.  BMQ on an fairly tough course.  For the first time the race did not run me, I ran the race.  I held my pace to the end and finished strong.  Mile 25 is uphill, no one but me was running up.  I only lost 30 seconds on this mile, which I was very happy about.  I had enough time the the "bank" so I wasn't too worried and was very pleased when I hit my lap button and it showed 8:31.  I knew I was home free.  I still ran the last 1.2 as hard as I could, my only worry was not tripping.  I had to dodge a few half marathon walkers, this was my biggest fear.  The weather was beautiful, I was worried it was going to be too hot but it was not a factor at all.

Great Job! I felt the same about my BQ in Eugene; a dream come true. I'm glad you were able to get registered in time! I could not imagine achieving something this big and not being able to see it through. See you in Boston!
